Ananda Festival of Bliss 2025 – Consumer Terms and Conditions
In these terms and conditions, “AFoB” refers to Ananda Festival of Bliss, legally represented by Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha with tax number 592010465.
Ticket Purchase
- Purchased tickets are for personal use and are non-refundable but transferable. Unless otherwise agreed, the ticket holder and the other party may not resell or transfer them. Violation of this condition grants AFoB the right to cancel tickets without prior notice, refund, compensation, or obligation. Tickets can only be transferred with prior consent from AFoB and must be changed exclusively by AFoB. See term 7 below.
- The official AFoB tickets are only those sold through the Ananda Kalyani website (https://discover.anandakalyani.org/events) and directly through Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha ([email protected]). Never purchase tickets from anyone else.
- Events and performances may be filmed or recorded. Purchasing a ticket confirms consent to being filmed or recorded as part of the audience. If you object and this happens while attending a show or event, please contact a festival organizer or send an email to [email protected].
Cancellation and Refund Rights
- Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded once purchased, except in the event that AFoB is canceled.
- Decisions to modify or cancel events are the responsibility of AFoB. We can only guarantee information about any changes or cancellations, but we are not responsible for any resulting costs, such as travel, accommodation, refunds, or any other compensation.
Event Participation
- AFoB is not responsible for any loss or damage suffered in connection with the event (including loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings at the festival, as well as personal injury).
- Admission to the event is subject to local operator terms, conditions, or rules. If these terms are violated, the operator may refuse admission or require ticket holders to leave.
- Attendees must respect health and safety rules. The organizer has the right to refuse entry or expel attendees if they:
- Engage in abusive, threatening, or intoxicated behavior
- Carry illegal substances or weapons
- Start fires, smoke outside designated areas, or consume alcohol on-site
- Alcohol and psychoactive substances are strictly prohibited and will be removed from the premises.
- Please check the details on your ticket carefully upon receipt. While on-site, always carry proof of age.
- Prohibited items: Glass bottles, cans, alcohol, large chairs (except foldable ones), tables, or picnic equipment. These items are only allowed in the camping area. Please help minimize environmental impact by not bringing excess camping equipment or leaving it behind. Glass bottles increase fire risk and harm nature if abandoned. Any prohibited items found will be confiscated. Water and non-alcoholic drinks are permitted in the festival area.
- Pets are not allowed at the event, except for guide dogs. Please be aware that heat, dehydration, noise, and crowded spaces can cause stress and health issues for animals.
Privacy
- If you registered your interest in receiving information from AFoB and consented, you may receive occasional updates, promotions, or offers. If you do not wish to receive additional materials, please email [email protected].
- AFoB will always respect your privacy and comply with data protection legislation.
General
- These terms and conditions do not create any enforceable rights or obligations for anyone other than AFoB and the ticket holder.
- Ticket purchases and these terms and conditions (as well as any contractual or non-contractual matters arising from them) are governed by Portuguese law, and any disputes between you and AFoB fall under the jurisdiction of Portuguese courts.
